Neville appeared to suffer a serious injury during his match with Chris Jericho on Monday's Raw in Pittsburgh. It looked like it happened as he was attempting a simple baseball slide through Y2J's legs, as he rolled his ankle. Neville tried to continue and even hit a hurricanrana, but it was obvious something was wrong. Jericho then called a finish with referee Charles Robinson, in which he shoved him to force a disqualification and end the match. Neville was then helped from the ring, and was unable to put any weight on his leg. Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that it is a "broken shin bone and broken ankle" and it is pretty clear he is now going to be out of WrestleMania. Grahame's Take Neville is one of the best in-ring workers in the company, and it is a massive shame for him to now miss WrestleMania. He looked set to have a good spot on the card, as part of the multi-man match for Kevin Owens' Intercontinental Title. He'd have added a lot of thrills, and of course it would have been a lucrative payday for him, too. He'll now miss out, and with the severity of such an injury, could be sidelined for some time. Freak injuries do happen and he's just had awful luck. On the positive side, maybe time out could give WWE the opportunity to reboot the character, bringing him back as an even bigger deal.
