Neville Vs Austin Aries Added To WrestleMania 33
Another title match added to the show of shows.
Since 205 Live started last year, Austin Aries has been the color commentator for the Cruiserweight-centric broadcast. Now that he's recovered from a broken orbital bone, though, he is ready to face his next challenge - he'll be taking on Neville for the WWE Cruiserweight Title at WrestleMania.
Aries was injured by an accidental kick from Shinsuke Nakamura on October 27, taking him off the active NXT roster. He then joined the broadcast booth on 205 Live, and has also conducted interviews with superstars from the show. On the March 6 episode of Raw, Aries was interviewing Neville in the ring and then attacked him, revealing that he had his eyes on the championship and that he was ready to get back to full-time competition.
On the March 14 episode of 205 Live, Aries competed in a five-way elimination match with T.J. Perkins, Brian Kendrick, Tony Nese, and Akira Tozawa. Aries won the bout, last eliminating inaugural Cruiserweight Champion Perkins in order to claim his shot at the title.
