With the Rascalz quartet of Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, and Trey Miguel having last week switched AEW for TNA, Miguel's time being #AllElite has already come to an end.

Last week's Dynamite saw the Rascalz's impending AEW arrival teased, and Wentz, Xavier, and Reed then appeared in a backstage segment with Lexy Nair on this past weekend's Collision; a segment that was taped on Wednesday. Many fans wondered why Trey Miguel wasn't a part of this segment, with it previously reported that all four Rascalz were backstage for last week's live Dynamite broadcast and Collision taping.

However, Trey has since taken to Instagram to announce he's taking a hiatus from the ring. As the former two-time TNA X Division Champion explained, "Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don't tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still."

On this topic, Fightful Select reports that Trey Miguel was released from his AEW contract in the past few days, and that he was actually absent from the 14 January AEW tapings where that aforementioned Collision segment was recorded. There are no further details right now on why Miguel was released, but this Fightful story reiterates that all four Rascalz were originally signed by AEW in early January, with previous reports noting that all four had signed multi-year deals with Tony Khan's promotion. While no reason has been revealed yet as to why Trey was let go, it's said that AEW remains on "amicable terms" with the 31-year-old.

The Rascalz had finished up with TNA at the end of 2025, with Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed's existing TNA deals up by the year's end, and Dezmond Xavier and Trey Miguel working for the Anthem promotion without a contract.
