New Champions Crowned At WWE WrestleMania 38!

Sasha Banks and Naomi are the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, having taken the belts from Carmella and Queen Zelina in a Fatal Four-Way tag match on WrestleMania 38's second night.
Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley as well as Natalya and Shayna Baszler also featured in the match, which ran for just under 11 minutes. While perhaps not as cohesive as the earlier Raw Tag Team Title bout, in which RK-Bro successfully retained over The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, it aspired to be similarly fast-moving, with Banks and Noami eventually isolating Carmella for the decisive pinfall.
The duo had come together in the weeks prior to WrestleMania 38, seemingly for the express purpose of winning the belts. The primary focus of the event's hype packages, Banks and Naomi got a grand ring entrance on the night, pulling up to the stage in a lime green Lamborghini.
Zelina and Carmella had. been Tag Team Champions for 132 days, having taken the straps from Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley in November 2021. Their reign brought only one successful defence - against Ripley and A.S.H. on 3 January 2022.
This is Naomi's first run as a Women's Tag Team Champion. Banks, meanwhile, begins her third reign, having previously enjoyed two runs with the gold alongside Bayley.
