New Dates Confirmed For WWE International Tour
WWE's 2021 Australia and New Zealand dates get moved to 2022.
WWE’s planned international tour of Australia and New Zealand this coming July has now been pushed back until next year.
The previous schedule had WWE running one New Zealand event and two Australia dates in late-July, but those shows will instead take place in August 2022 due to the ongoing travel restrictions.
As announced by TEG Dainty, the following changes have now been made:
- Thursday 29 July’s Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne event has been moved to Saturday 6 August 2022
- Friday 30 July’s Quodos Bank Arena, Sydney event has been moved to Friday 5 August 2022
- Saturday 31 July’s Spark Arena, Auckland event has been moved to Thursday 4 August 2022
All tickets purchased for these shows remain valid for the rearranged dates, while a refund option is available for those who’d rather have their money back.
In terms of WWE getting back in front of a live audience once more, Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut is currently planning for this year’s SummerSlam PPV to take place in front of live fans – with speculation that this event could then be used as the launching pad for a full return to WWE's usual touring schedule.
