All Elite Wrestling debuted a brand new Women's World Championship design at Revolution 2022, doing so without prior announcement.

Instead of hyping the strap in advance, AEW had champion Britt Baker emerge without around her waist, then immediately dropped a few studio photographs on Twitter so that fans could get a closer look like the pay-per-view was ongoing.

Fightful Select have now reported that the new AEW Women's World Championship was created by Belts By Dan in just three weeks. That's a quick turnaround for such a product, beating Dan's previous best by about a week.

The belt features snaps and velcro. Design-wise, it was inspired by the Mid-South North American Heavyweight Championship, which some quickly noticed on social media.

AEW has redesigned its top Women's Title once in the past, doing so ahead of Hikaru Shida's defence against Baker at Double Or Nothing 2021. Shida ended up losing to Baker on that pay-per-view. Though she remains the longest-reigning Women's Champion in AEW history with 372 days on top, Shida was unable to make a single successful defence of the then-new strap.

Baker fared better at Revolution, defeating Thunder Rosa.
