This week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter features a write-up on Cody Rhodes' WWE contract, which the American Nightmare himself has previously described as "very detailed and complex."

Dave Meltzer states that included in Rhodes' terms are various details inserted by WWE President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan, which allow the former AEW Executive Vice President to work on projects outside of wrestling. Cody's contract therefore allows him to film another season of the Go Big Show should TBS choose to renew it for a third season.

Rhodes served as a judge on Go Big Show's first and second seasons. This was, of course, while he was working for AEW, whose shows have gone out on Turner since 2019.

Rhodes to the Top won't be happening. Although filming for the show's new season had started prior to Cody leaving AEW for WWE, it was an AEW project.

In a short podcast released immediately after his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Rhodes told The Ringer the following of his contract:-

“I’m all in [with WWE]. It may be the most complex document ever drawn out in the history of our game. This is a full multi-year commitment, not a part-time deal. I’m back doing what I used to, every day on the road. They were wonderful enough to get me a bus, so my family could be with me. I got everyone here with me tonight [for WrestleMania Saturday]. They bet on me, so I’m going to bet on WWE. I’m really looking forward to it.”

AEW and Cody went their separate ways when the two parties couldn't come to terms on a new contract in February.
