New Japan Pro Wrestling Confirm "Top Stars" For NJPW Royal Quest In London
Ticket and further roster information to follow...
NJPW have confirmed that at least "three top stars" will appear on their August 31st show at London's Copper Box arena, labelling their first official Great Britain supershow as 'Royal Quest' in keeping with the aesthetic many organisations embrace when touring these Isles.
New Japan worked alongside Revolution Pro Wrestling on two shows last year in Milton Keynes and Altrincham, but the cards leaned heavily on the Rev-Pro regulars alongside a select group of travelling NJPW regulars.
The press release on NJPW's official website noted that "Three of our top Japanese wrestlers have confirmed they will be on the card and they will be bringing New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s fighting spirit to the heart of the UK’s capital. We’ll let you know who they are next week at the same time that we announce the ticket sale!"
The group also suggested that there would be meet-and-greets alongside other events making use of the luxurious East End facilities that hosted events at the 2012 London Olympics.
NJPWUK.com has been repurposed as a ticket pre-sale registration page ahead of the official release date, with anticipation amongst fans continuing to build since the initial Wrestle Kingdom 13 announcement.
