New NXT Tag Team Champs Crowned On WWE NXT 2.0
Who survived the five-team gauntlet match to capture the vacant tag titles?
Pretty Deadly are your new NXT Tag Team Champions, winning a five-team gauntlet match to capture the vacant titles.
The British duo entered the gauntlet match last and picked the bones of the Creed Brothers, who survived three other teams after entering first. The brothers didn't make it easy for the former NXT UK tag champs, repeatedly kicking out of their best shots and even surprising them with some offense and rollups.
But after besting Legardo Del Fantasma, Briggs & Jensen, and Grayson Waller & Sanga, the Creeds didn't have enough left in the tank, with both men spending the fourth contest leaning on the ropes and sucking win (in storyline). Still, it took illegal interference to finally put the brothers down for the count.

Considering the circumstances and that Pretty Deadly were revealed last week to have attacked the Creed Brothers at NXT Roadblock in March, it's fair to assume that the brothers will be seeking revenge in the coming weeks.
The NXT tag titles were suddenly vacated last week after MSK's Nash Carter was fired due to a photograph that his wife Kimber Lee posted of Carter mimicking a Nazi salute while sporting a Hitler-like moustache. Kimber also had tweeted numerous domestic abuse allegations against Carter.
MSK had won the tag titles earlier this month at NXT Stand and Deliver, finishing a months-long journey that saw them lose the titles last October and then embark on a pilgrimage to find their shaman, who turned out to be Riddle.
