New Stipulation Added To WrestleMania 37 Match, Celebrity Appearance Confirmed
Major WrestleMania 37 announcements were made on last night's WWE SmackDown.
Apollo Crews challenged Intercontinental Champion Big E to a Nigerian Drum Fight over the belt at WrestleMania 37 on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
The two were confirmed to be clashing over the title at the upcoming Show of Shows last week. However, it now appears that the challenger wants to avenge his loss at Fastlane in a match that is based on an ancient ritual created by the resurgent star's ancestors. Crews also revealed that the contest would consist of no rules, giving him the chance to give the Champion "a beating so loud it sounds like a drum.
Elsewhere on SmackDown, Logan Paul made his debut WWE appearance as Sami Zayn's special guest for his highly anticipated reveal of the trailer for his upcoming conspiracy documentary. During this showing, Zayn would also invite Paul to 'Mania 37 as his guest, an offer the YouTube sensation happily accepted. Kevin Owens would then beat down his Show of Shows opponent and long-time pal Zayn in the wake of Paul seemingly questioning his host's conspiracy theories, with KO also shoving past the mainstream star on his way out of the ring.
Whether or not Paul has a hands on part to play in Zayn and Owens' eventual Showcase of the Immortals encounter remains to be seen, but there's no questioning his presence at the event will get many more casual eyes on the product.
