New Tag Team Name Revealed For The IIconics?
It looks like Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay have found their new team name.
Following on from Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee’s recent comments about how the pair are moving forward as a “package deal” where it pertains to their wrestling futures, it looks as if the former IIconics may have found their new team name.
While it’s not confirmed that this moniker will be used for the charismatic tandem, a formal trademark has been filed by Cassandra Lee McIntosh, aka Cassie Lee, for “The IInspiration”. Amongst other things, this trademark was filed for the purposes of “entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests” and for “goods and services” such as shirts, hats and hoodies.
As Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, McKay and Lee were released by WWE on 15 April 2021 as part of one of several rounds of mass releases made by the company this year.
The duo will be able to wrestle wherever they want from 14 July, and a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio saw Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee give praise to the women’s divisions of both AEW and IMPACT Wrestling.
Wherever McKay and Lee land, they'll bring plenty to the table and will be a great addition to the female ranks of any promotion on the planet.
