New Trio Coming To AEW

All-star trio set to hit the AEW roster?

If last week's episode of Collision wasn't enough of a clue, a new trademark filing suggests that Adam Copeland and FTR will be a named AEW before long.

Copeland's Wet Yeti, Inc., Hax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler have filed a trademark application for "Rated FTR" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. As of 18 October, the application is awaiting an assigned examiner.

Copeland and FTR seek "Rated FTR" for the following purposes:

GS0411 Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

The name follows familiar conventions for the trio. Previously, Copeland has teamed with Randy Orton as Rated RKO, while Harwood and Wheeler's AEW alliance with CM Punk went by CMFTR.

Rated FTR, who are all real-life friends, aligned on last week's Collision, clearing Lucahsaurus, Big Bill, Ricky Starks, and Nick Wayne from the ring after Bryan Danielson's TNT Title match with Christian Cage.
