Who Should Be The New WWE Champion?

Daniel Bryan has been stripped of the WWE Title which will now be put up for grabs in a Money in the Bank ladder match. But who should take the title?

By Grahame Herbert /

Monday Night Raw witnessed Daniel Bryan stripped of the WWE Title due to injury. Bryan's recovery from neck surgery is not going as well as expected, WWE were left with no other choice but to vacate his championship. There is no time frame on Bryan's recovery, but given that he wasn't fit enough for Money In The Bank (which is at the very end of June) you have to think that even July is going to be a stretch. It could be August and SummerSlam before we see this popular babyface on our screens again. It's an unavoidable but massive blow to Bryan as a headliner. There's little doubt he will get another chance, but so much of his momentum is gone, his run as Champion was a whimper and connotations of being a failure could stick. WWE have indirectly and subliminally pressed the idea he is a 'B plus player' just a little too much. The new WWE Champion has already been decided upon, according to F4wonline.com. Who this will be remains unknown outside of WWE, but we already have Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Cesaro in a Money In The Bank Ladder match for the vacant title. You would guess that at least two more names will be added to that mix before the June 29th pay per view. So who would you like to see as the new WWE Champion?
