Next Challengers For WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Determined On Raw
Lita and Becky Lynch will defend their straps on next week's episode of Raw.
The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship will be on the line on next week's Raw when champs Becky Lynch & Lita face new #1 contenders Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan.
Rodriguez and Morgan won their match Monday night against Damage CTRL's Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, earning a shot at the champs by knocking off the former champions. Morgan and Rodriguez have teamed together a couple times during the past two months, winning two matches on SmackDown and then losing in the four-way showcase match at WrestleMania 39 on Sunday.
The duo will mark the first title defense for Lita & Becky, who knocked off Damage CTRL at then end of February, ending their near-four-month reign. Since then, the tag champs have only wrestled in one other tag match, with Trish Stratus joining them in beating Damage CTRL at Mania on Saturday.

Lita has looked rusty in the ring since returning, but the nostalgia run could have legs if it means we get some actual title matches going forward. Lynch said during a promo Monday night that they wanted to restore prestige to the women's tag titles by defending them, so we'll have to see what happens going forward. But first, they have to get past Morgan & Rodriguez.
