8. IWGP Intercontinental Title: Hiroshi Tanahashi (c) Vs. Jay White

Result: Tanahashi murders White with the High Fly Flow for the win (19:44).

Rating: This was a decent cooldown match sandwiched between the three best bouts on the card, though it undeniably also suffered due to being resigned to that fate.

The pace stayed pretty relaxed and ambling for the entirety, and though it ultimately didn't deliver the payoff many were expecting for Jay White, it was still solid enough.

It could've been a fair few minutes shorter and just as effective, and many fans will protest the lack of a trigger-pull on White, but it's no doubt on the way soon enough. 6/10
