The platform hosting Back for the Attack, FITE TV, posted a purchase page for the PPV before the NWA could make an announcement. FITE's official description of the show reads as follows:-

On March 21st NWA is back on FITE! Back for the Attack is the first PPV event of NWA in 2021 and will be big, and historic! The event features the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis, NWA stars Thunder Rosa, Aron Stevens, Trevor Murdoch, Elijah Burke aka The Pope, Tim Storm, Kamille, and many more.

An interview Corgan had conducted with The Associated Press' Dan Gelston was released shortly after this page emerged, in which the Smashing Pumpkins frontman confirmed the deal.

The NWA has since issued a press release confirming the return of Powerrr, their popular web series, featuring the following comments from Aldis:-

“I’m incredibly proud of this new deal between the NWA and FITE; from the beginning of the Lightning One era of the NWA, FITE have been great pay-per-view partners for the NWA and with the incredible growth that they have experienced in the last couple of years it’s very exciting to enter into a streaming agreement with FITE for our flagship show NWA Powerrr. Streaming is the future and we’re proud to be with a leader in the field for sports entertainment."

The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer reported that the NWA was taping new content from 21-24 March, having largely sat dormant since the onset of the global health crisis and executive Dave Lagana's implication in the #SpeakingOut movement.
