A handsome victory for NXT over the main roster in Chicago.

It wasn't a flawless victory, but NXT wiped the floor with Raw and SmackDown at last night's WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, scoring more individual wins than both main roster brands combined.

Women's Champion Shayna Baszler scored her brand's supremacy when she bested Bayley and Becky Lynch in the night's main event, though she was laid out by 'The Man' after the bell. This victory came on the back of triumphs for brandmates Rhea Ripley, Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, and NXT UK's Toni Storm in the women's 5-on-5-on-5 elimination match, Roderick Strong over AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, and Lio Rush over Akira Tozawa and Kalisto.

SmackDown won the men's 5-on-5-on-5, with Roman Reigns besting Keith Lee in an awesome final fall, and also in the Kickoff Show's tag team battle royal. Raw's sole victory came from The Viking Raiders, who defeated The New Day and Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish.

Raw: 1

A bold move from WWE, though it would've been nice to see Baszler, not Lynch, standing tall in the end. That's a nitpick, though. This should be a seriously effective piece of marketing for NXT on Wednesday nights. Kudos to the promotion for going down this route.
