NXT Faction Debuts On WWE SmackDown
Newcomers team up with returning superstar, jump former NXT rivals.
Legado Del Fantasma made their WWE main roster debut on SmackDown Friday night, attacking Hit Row before a tag team match.
Three masked men beat down Top Dolla and Ashante "Thee" Adonis, then revealed themselves to be Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde. They were joined by a returning Zelina Vega, who put down B-Fab.
Legado have been absent from WWE programming for more than a month. In August, Escobar lost a match against Tony D'Angelo that saw him banned from NXT. The rest of the faction, which had been forced into joining D'Angelo's family, simply left with Santos shortly thereafter, literally driving off, not to be seen in NXT again.
In attacking Hit Row, Legado resumes a feud that lasted throughout the summer of 2021 in NXT.
"We are Legado del Fantasma. SmackDown is ours."

The talented group adds even more depth to the tag team roster, with Escobar having a chance to finally be the breakthrough Latino superstar WWE has craved for nearly 20 years.
Noticeably absent from Legado Del Fantasma was Elektra Lopez, who has been part of the group since August 2021. Vega seems to be replacing Lopez, though there is no word on Elektra's future in WWE at the moment.
