Cameron Grimes looks to be heading to WWE's main roster sooner rather than later.

That's according to PWInsider, who note that the NXT star will be present at the next WWE Raw tapings. Said report does go on to state how this is most likely due to Grimes potentially working on the WWE Main Event taping as fellow NXT star Carmelo Hayes did last week.

But there's also the possibility of the former North American Champion's main roster appearance playing into his current developmental storyline with Joe Gacy and The Schism, with the star on the lookout for some partners for his upcoming six-person tag match against the villainous trio this coming Tuesday.

If Grimes does rock up on the red show this week, he will merely act as the latest brand crossover star in recent times, with Sonya Deville popping up on this week's NXT to aid Toxic Attraction, Roxanne Perez stopping by last night's edition of SmackDown to team with Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi, and Cora Jade being invited to the upcoming episode of Raw.

The latter two NXT stars' showings on the main roster have centred around the pair choosing the "Pick Your Poison" opponent for their rival on the next edition of the Tuesday night show; SmackDown saw Perez choose Jade's former tag partner Rodriguez for the incoming singles bout.

Fans should expect more and more Raw, SmackDown, and NXT crossovers in the coming weeks, too, with it being recently reported how said show hopping is benefiting both the younger talents in developmental and the show's ratings in general.
