NXT TakeOver Brooklyn III: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

By Jack Pooley /

1. NXT Women's Title: Asuka (c) Vs. Ember Moon

WWE

Result: Asuka makes Moon tap to the Asuka Lock (14:50).

Rating: An absolute cracker of a match that more-than lived up to the considerable hype, even with the rather surprising decision to keep the title on Asuka, as this really, really felt like Ember's time to win, and Asuka's to lose before a main roster call-up.

Still, the kickouts in particular were stunning, especially Asuka barely surviving the Eclipse, ensuring that even in defeat Moon came out looking insanely strong. She's surely got an NXT Women's Title in her future when Asuka finally moves on.

The selling, the desperation and the crowd reactions all contributed to what's arguably one of the best women's matches in WWE history, and certainly up there with Bayley vs. Sasha from the very first Brooklyn TakeOver show. 9/10
