NXT Talent Files Order Of Protection Against Keanu Carver (WWE News)
An NXT talent filed an order of protection against Keanu Carver earlier this month.
An NXT talent has filed an order of protection against fellow NXT wrestler Keanu Carver - real name Kevin Robertson - with allegations of harassment and stalking.
This filing was first reported by John Pollock and Brandon Thurston over at POST Wrestling, with the order of protection against Robertson being requested on September 14th, and a judge granting the temporary order on that same day. The order has since been extended through at least October 20th, which is when the next hearing on the matter is scheduled.
As part of this order, Robertson cannot contact the petitioner, whom POST Wrestling chose not to name out of respect, and he must stay at least 500 feet away from them at all times. In court papers, it's alleged that Robertson and the petitioner were in an abusive relationship, including allegations that he spat on them, physically stopped them from leaving their house, threatened to kill them, and threatened to kill their cats.
This abusive relationship is said to have recently ended, and it's alleged that, following that breakup, Robertson made several unwanted visits to the petitioner's home and made numerous unwanted phone calls, including up to 44 calls in one day. The 49-page filing features various screenshots that appear to show calls from Robertson to the petitioner and also security camera stills showing Robertson's unwanted visits to the property.
The order of protection is a civil matter, and POST Wrestling could not confirm whether or not any charges have been filed for stalking, as stalking is a criminal offense under Florida law. A representative of the local police department told POST that the case is still pending with the State Attorney's Office and that the case is being investigated, but, again, they could not confirm whether charges will be filed.
One day before the order of protection was filed, September 13th, the petitioner alleges that Robertson visited their residence, refused to leave, and threatened to harm himself, leading to the petitioner calling the police. Robertson left the property before the police arrived. This is one of many alleged incidents detailed by the petitioner, including a September 4th visit at 7am when Robertson was "intoxicated and under the influence of drugs and alcohol"; a September 8th visit where Robertson allegedly grabbed the petitioner's vehicle when they tried to reverse away from him; and an alleged 2:01am visit on September 10th where Robertson knocked on the property's door "all night long" and circled the property.
