Has SummerSlam's poster just revealed one of the show's biggest matches by accident?

Next week's episode of SmackDown Live will feature a match between John Cena and Shinsuke Nakamura. The winner will go on to face Jinder Mahal for the WWE Title at SummerSlam, but WWE's own official poster for the August 20 pay-per-view may have spoiled what the creative team have in mind.

On top of the poster, Raw stars Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe feature. All will contest the Universal Title in a Fatal-4-Way. Lower down, WWE Champ Mahal is shown alongside fellow SmackDown roster members Cena and Nakamura.

Does this suggest the SummerSlam match will be a Triple Threat?

Now Nakamura's brief feud with Baron Corbin is finished, there isn't much for the Japanese star to do on WWE's biggest pay-per-view of the Summer, so it'd make sense for him to be involved in the top title picture.

If that's set to be the case though, then Nakamura's match on SmackDown against John Cena will have to finish in controversial circumstances. In other words, there can't be an outright winner, forcing either Daniel Bryan or Shane McMahon to accept that both are worthy challengers.
