11. Owen In WCW
I like to think of myself as a guy who knows quite a lot about wrestling but I never knew Owen Hart had a short stint in WCW in 1991. Footage of Owens handful of matches in the promotion are shown here and he still looks as exciting a performer as he was back in Stampede Wrestling in the mid-to-late 80s.
Edge grew up a big Owen Hart fan and he fondly remembers Owen briefly appearing in WCW but that it just didnt feel right. Jim Ross, who worked in Atlanta as a broadcaster at the time, also discussed Owens short run, remarking Owen like many who came through there, WCW didn't know what to do with him. He was phenomenal in 1991. Too right he was.
When you watch old WCW stuff from the early 1990s, theres a lot of talented wrestlers who werent really given proper characters or featured beyond enhancement matches and Owen suffered from this during his brief run down there.
