Paige Claims WWE Return Is Happening Soon
Encouraging CT scan opens door for return.
WWE superstar Paige, who hasn't been seen in the ring since June 2016, has claimed in a new interview that she will be returning to WWE 'soon'.
Although the former Divas Champion didn't specify a timeframe, she noted on Sirius XM's 'Busted Open' show (hosted by Bully Ray) that she had an encouraging CT scan earlier that day.
Paige also mentioned that she had surgery last October, and can't wait to get back to work - specifically with the newer main roster talents that have thrived in her absence, such as Bayley and Alexa Bliss.
The interview was primarily held to address reports of serious domestic issues between Paige and Alberto El Patron. Both claimed that they argue like a normal couple, but things become magnified by the media spotlight. Paige did apologise to younger fans for her behaviour in public - a reference to the recent incident at Orlando airport.
Paige's last match was on an edition of Monday Night Raw from Tampa, Florida on June 26, 2016. She teamed with Sasha Banks to defeat Charlotte and Dana Brooke.
