Paige VanZant Signs AEW Contract On Dynamite
Former UFC fighter signs AEW contract following Tay Conti and Sammy Guevara's destruction.
Paige VanZant signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling to close last night's episode of Dynamite, finally inking with the company after multiple appearances in 2021 and 2022.
The ceremony went down following the night's main event between Scorpio Sky and TNT Champion Sammy Guevara. Sitting at ringside, VanZant got into it with Guevara's girlfriend Tay Conti, who was seconding the TNT Champion, during the bout itself. PVZ was involved in the finish too, jumping Conti and throwing her into the ring steps to trigger enough of a distraction for Sky to hit Guevara with a TKO and become TNT Champion.
Afterwards, VanZant dropped Conti on Guevara's broken body, signing her AEW deal on the Brazilian's backside.

A semi-regular in AEW since debuting through American Top Team's program with The Inner Circle in the summer of 2021, VanZant's contract signing was originally scheduled for Revolution 2022 this past weekend, though the segment was pulled without warning.
Given last night's actions, Conti appears to be PVZ's first AEW feud. This follows an angle between VanZant and Brandi Rhodes earlier this year that can no longer be followed up on for obvious reasons.
