The duo formally reunited on last night's episode of WWE Raw, with the development coming in the opening segment. Heyman was in the ring as the show hit the airwaves, introducing Lesnar, who became WWE Champion at Day 1 on 1 January. Their alliance was re-cemented when Lesnar shock hands with his Advocate, whom he thanked for pulling the strings that allowed him to compete for the WWE Title on 2022's first pay-per-view.

Lesnar was originally booked to face Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Day 1. This changed on the day, following Reigns' confirmation that he had tested positive for COVID-19, leading to Brock being added to the Fatal 4-Way against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and now-former champion Big E

Heyman, meanwhile, has been at the centre of the Lesnar/Reigns feud from the moment Brock returned at SummerSlam 2022. His loyalties have been a constant question throughout, with the story's most notable development coming when Roman relived Paul of his services as his 'Special Counsel' a couple of weeks ago.

As confirmed on last night's Raw, Lesnar defends the WWE Title against Bobby Lashley at Royal Rumble 2022 (29 January).
