Paul Heyman has spoken on why WWE hasn't pushed wrestlers like Andrade, Aleister Black, and Ricochet since he left his position as Raw's Executive Director in June 2020, doing so in a new interview with Esquire Middle East.

Roman Reigns' on-air manager said that while WWE is constantly altering its own business model, the above names are tremendous talents who will work their way to the top initially:-

“WWE is like any other business. It constantly redefines itself and constantly assesses its placement in the marketplace, and it’s constantly disrupting its own business model. The cream will rise to the top, as the saying goes. There are great talents. And the people that I chose are not people that—the people that I chose to promote, are not charity cases, they are extraordinarily talented men and women. And they will find the trajectory to the top."

Heyman added that the process could take longer than when he was at Raw's creative helm:-

"They will, because they’re top stars that are waiting to happen. Whether that path is as smooth as I tried to make it—and admittedly, I tried to put everybody on a fast track—or not, is a matter of conjecture. But these are extraordinarily talented people. And they will find their way to the top of the industry.”

Andrade, Black, and Ricochet were amongst a group of young, up-and-coming talents earmarked for big success under Heyman's tenure. Now, Andrade hasn't been on television since October and has requested his release, Aleister vanished five months ago, and Ricochet has wrestled just two Raw matches this year, operating primarily on Main Event.
