Paul Wight To Debut On Next Week's AEW Dynamite
The former Big Show arrives on next week's AEW Revolution 2021 go-home Dynamite.
Paul Wight will debut for All Elite Wrestling on next week's episode of Dynamite.
This was announced early on last night's show, with AEW confirming that the former Big Show will speak during the broadcast.
Yesterday saw the legendary former WCW and WWE Champion shockingly jump ship from WWE, having been with the company since 1999. He was let go by Vince McMahon's promotion when the two parties were unable to come to terms on an extension to his expiring contract earlier this year.
Wight will commentate on the new Dark: Elevation show, serve as a host and ambassador, and wrestle for AEW. AEW issued a press release yesterday promising more information in Wight, with next week's debut and news that Tony Schiavone will serve as his Elevation broadcast partner the announcements.
Subtitled The Crossroads, next week's Dynamite also features Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet vs. NBA legend and the debuting Jade Cargill, and 67-year-old Tully Blanchard coming out of retirement to face Jurassic Express.
Preston '10' Vance vs. Max Caster in a Face of the Revolution ladder match qualifier and a Chris Jericho/MJF press conference segment were also announced during last night's show.
