"People Should Throw Toilet Paper At Dominik Mysterio, He's The ****s" - CM Punk (WWE News)
CM Punk buries "terrible" Dominik Mysterio in new interview.
CM Punk has playfully buried WWE roster mate Dominik Mysterio in a new appearance on Good Guy / Bad Guy, stating that he is surprised audiences don't throw things at the Judgment Day member.
"I don't encourage this," Punk told Chael Sonnen and Daniel Cormier (h/t Wrestlezone), "but I'm shocked that people don’t throw rotten fruit at [Dominik] or at least toilet paper because he’s the ****s."
"Listen, that moustache is a choice, that haircut is a choice," Punk continued. "His stupidity is a choice, you know what I mean? He could read a book, he could learn how to read, he could be a better wrestler. He can learn how to run the ropes. He’s terrible and if it’s because his dad is terrible, well the apple don’t fall far from the tree. Everything about that kid [is] rotten to the core."
Mysterio welcomed Punk back to WWE in December 2023, giving the 'Voice of the Voiceless' his first singles matches since returning to the company after nearly a decade away. The two faced off in high-profile house show matches that month in New York City and Los Angeles, both of which Punk won.
Since then, the only times Punk and Dominik have shared a ring were in the 2024 and 2025 men's Royal Rumble matches.
Although Punk is not in a fully-fledged program with Dominik, his words feed into Mysterio's character direction since Clash at the Castle 2022, when he turned on his father, Rey, to join the Judgment Day. Mysterio has been a prominently pushed midcard heel ever since, factoring heavily into important storylines involving his dad, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and more.
