Pete Dunne Signs New WWE Contract
The Bruiserweight commits his future to WWE.
With plentiful speculation over Pete Dunne's future in recent weeks, the Bruiserweight has reportedly now signed a new contract with WWE.
As per Fightful Select, Dunne has signed a new long-term WWE deal that is believed to be for three years.
The former NXT UK Champion was offered this contract personally by Triple H before The Game was forced to take some time off to undergo surgery for a "cardiac event".
It was reported in August how Dunne had been offered a new WWE deal, and now it appears he's opted to sign said deal and remain with WWE for the foreseeable future. Previous reports indicated that the 27-year-old Birmingham native's prior contract was expiring last month, with this news coming at the same time that news broke on Adam Cole's expiring WWE deal.
Cole of course decided to exit WWE and become #AllElite, whereas the Dunne will stay under the WWE umbrella for at least the next three years.
Pete Dunne has been officially with WWE since early 2017, competing in the tournament to crown the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion; a tournament that saw him lose out to Tyler Bate in the final.
