Polarising WWE Legend About To Wrestle His Last Match EVER?

This might be the last time WWE fans see someone huge inside a company ring.

Bill Goldberg might be about to wrestle his last ever WWE match.

Dave Meltzer reported in The Wrestling Observer that the former WCW icon's current contract only allows for one more bout. WWE will obviously save that for a special occasion (probably during WrestleMania 38 season, or maybe for the next trip over to Saudi Arabia) - they're not gonna waste it on free TV, put it that way.

Meltzer also questioned whether or not the company would be interested in inking a fresh deal with the ex-Universal Champion going forwards. Goldberg is 55, and they've chewed through some seriously big time matches over the past few years.

Bouts opposite The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and even Dolph Ziggler have all been done. In addition, Bill also worked now-released man Braun Strowman at 'Mania 36 (he was originally scheduled to wrestle Roman Reigns).

That right there could be WWE's final power play for the ageing legend. They've yet to pull the trigger on it, and Goldberg could be a fine placeholder opponent for the 'Tribal Chief' in early-2022.

Or, perhaps Vince McMahon has someone else in mind.
