As per Fightful, the 2022 Royal Rumble looks likely to take place in St. Louis, Missouri.

Previously, there were some rumblings that WWE's annual January spectacle could be held in Seattle, although the belief now is that St. Louis is the clear frontrunner to host next year's Rumble show.

On the "annual January spectacle" front, of course, there has been some internal talk of WWE moving the 2022 Royal Rumble to February for the first time in the event's history. As of this writing, a formal decision has yet to be made on any such move.

Before we get to the Royal Rumble, mind, first up there's Extreme Rules on 26 September, a return to Saudi Arabia with Crown Jewel on 21 October, the 2021 Survivor Series on November 21, and a to-be-confirmed December PPV from Rosemont's Allstate Arena.

In addition to those events, WWE will also be running a PPV on New Year's Day from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
