Potential Spoiler For WWE's Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Which of these women will climb the corporate ladder on 10 May?
It looks like a wrestler from WWE's red side will take this year's women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
The promotion dropped a potential spoiler on Monday's episode of Raw, announcing that Women's Champion Becky Lynch would be in the house to call out the MITB briefcase-holder for the 11 May fallout show. This makes it unlikely that WWE will go with one of the SmackDown wrestlers, who have Bayley to chase, not 'The Man.'
This probably means one of Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, and Asuka walking away with the contract, leaving Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Dana Brooke in the dust.
Cageside Seats has a brief snippet on the situation in today's Rumour Roundup column.
That Jax, Asuka, and Baszler are comfortably the three biggest names in the bout means this isn't a huge surprise. Carmella is a former champion but has slipped from the spotlight over the past year and while Evans had a lengthy feud with Becky in 2019 and has also challenged Bayley, she's still a work-in-progress.
The Raw ladies, meanwhile, have all been pushed to varying levels of dominance throughout their WWE careers and each is a heel, making them an easier choice to stalk the babyface Lynch.
