Zhao Xia was signed by WWE in September 2016 as part of the company's planned Chinese expansion, and she has since reported for duty at the WWE Performance Center. Xia was the only female signed as part of the expansion, and the pressure that comes with that status is immense.

Zhao is no stranger to competition however, winning multiple fitness and martial arts competitions over the last few years. She may not be the biggest, but her intimate knowledge of striking and grappling could see her do well in the Mae Young Classic.
