Predicting The Next 10 Alignment Changes In WWE
10. Edge
Frankly speaking, Edge being booted from the faction he founded was the best possible thing to happen to the character. The Hall of Famer was arguably the best heel in the WWE during the noughties, and it was disappointing that his latest run as a bad-guy reduced him to a pale shadow of the magnificent bastard many wrestling fans grew up with.
Edge's stint as a loquacious, Bray Wyatt-lite cult leader never really took off for various reasons - the abrupt change in character; his rambling, nonsensical promos; his disappointing 'Mania match against Styles - with the end result being that most wrestling fans were more than happy to say goodbye to this version of the Rated-R Superstar.
Having said all that, when Edge returns to WWE to enact vengeance on his erstwhile acolytes, he can be guaranteed of a thunderous pop as he walks down the ramp. Wrestling fans want to cheer the real-life Adam Copeland - especially after all the trials and tribulations he endured to get back into the ring - and it'll be a pleasure to actually look forward to his segments on RAW once again.
