Randy Orton Laughed Off Misconduct Claims At WWE Shows This Week - Report
WWE veteran allegedly made light of the situation ahead of a dark match following SmackDown LIVE.
Randy Orton allegedly joked with WWE staffers during SmackDown LIVE's dark main event about some of the sexual harassment claims made against him, according to reports at WrestlingInc.
The website claims that following Tuesday's WWE TV tapings in Greenville, South Carolina, there was a match which saw Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and WWE Champion AJ Styles taking on Orton, Samoa Joe and United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
Apparently, prior to the match Orton approached WWE crew members who were ringside and offered a handshake, shaking the hand of one staffer whilst laughing. The whole group then reportedly burst out laughing afterwards.
This would seem to be in relation to recent sexual harassment allegations against the 38-year-old. As reported on Monday, Reddit user CarterVoorhes31 revived a story from a 2012 edition of Court Bauer's MLW podcast, where the former WWE writer claimed:-
"For every new writer that would show up, he come in the room, put his hand down his pants, pull out his d*ck, touch himself, then say "I'm Randy Orton, shake my hand. Oh, you dont want to shake my hand? You're big leaguing me? That's f**ked up man. Should I tell Vince and Steph you wont shake Randy Orton's hand?"
FOX News became the first mainstream media outlet to report the story, to which WWE have responded that they were looking into the matter, although it's now believed no action will be taken, especially considering Orton and the WWE crew member's responses.
