Randy Orton is grateful for Triple H's fairer approach towards talent management in 2024, but says he plans to wrestle into his 50s before retiring - that'd bring Orton to 30 full years as a WWE worker, which is wild to think about.

The 44 year old told Adam's Apple that Vince McMahon's old adage was: "Mother nature gets us all". That wasn't what Randy wanted to hear when he was a 30-something full-timer struggling with back pain. Now, post-serious surgery to correct major issues, Orton feels great and wants to be a full-time WWE talent for as long as humanly possible.

Knowing Triple H will meet him halfway if there are any aches and pains is a real comfort blanket.

Orton says WWE's attitude towards injury management has softened. Now, "instead of pushing the guys and running their d*cks into the ground", Hunter prefers to be more forgiving towards his roster's wellbeing. That's why Randy is hopeful he'll still be wrestling when he hits the big 5-0 mark.

WWE is certainly a better place when Orton is on the books, that's for sure.
