Ranking 10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2015

WWE Raw had its fair share of memorable moments over the course of 2015.

There is little doubt that the past few months of WWE Raw have been painful to watch, specifically November and December. The build to TLC was atrocious (though the pay-per-view itself exceeded expectations) and WWE closed out the year on a sour note with a less-than-stellar Slammy Awards and a mediocre final episode of 2015. But should fans hold out hope for greener pastures in 2016? Before we look forward to the new year, it's important to first look back at the year that was 2015 on Raw. While WWE's fall and winter seasons haven't had much to offer, the flagship show was at its best during the spring and summer. It was nothing compared to the days of old, mind you, but by today's standards, Raw was entertaining on a near-consistent basis from week to week. Believe it or not, 2015 had its highlights. Who could forget the electric return of The Dudley Boyz? Or Kevin Owens' main roster debut? Or how about when Brock Lesnar laid out the entire commentary team? All of those monumental moments occurred on Raw. Terrible editions of Raw were not hard to find this year, but it was the exceptional episodes that fans might remember most about this year in WWE.

The Highlights: Coming off the heels of a hot Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, the biggest question heading into Monday's Raw was who would be declared the new No. 1 contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Thus, an eight-man mini-tournament was made with the winners of the four matches advancing to the Fatal 4-Way main event. It made for a great night of in-ring action highlighted by Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio vs. Neville, and a potential Match of the Year candidate in the main event. Who knew the three hours of Raw could be used to give us awesome wrestling? The Low Points: Although Paige's heel turn on this show was well done, it came one month too late. Technically, she went rogue the night after Night of Champions but continued to align herself with Charlotte and Becky Lynch, anyway, as if nothing ever happened between them. Thus, Team PCB vs. Team Bella six-woman tag team match was overdone and predictable. Tyler Breeze was also oddly introduced to the WWE Universe by sitting at ringside during Dolph Ziggler's match despite making an impactful debut the week prior on SmackDown.
