Ranking The 16 Greatest WWE TLC Matches Ever

8. Edge vs. Undertaker (One Night Stand 2008)

Here's Edge again. Get used to it... The Rated R Superstar was once referred to as "the Einstein of the business." He was very adept at taking the pieces of the puzzle that shape a wrestling match and putting them together in intricately creative ways. That skill set applied particularly well to the finishes of his matches. He was one of the best closers in history, capable of capping off matches in thrilling fashion. He would need it against Taker, who is perhaps the most methodical worker to have ever appeared in a TLC match. Part of the allure of the match in 2008 was the added stipulation that Taker would have to retire if he lost the match. The World Championship and a legendary career hung in the balance. What the Deadman lacked in TLC experience he more than made up for thanks to his chemistry with Edge. This was the second in a trio of classics between the two. The high spots were very well done and the finish was an incredible visual.
