Ranking 20 WWE Debuts And Returns In 2019

19. Lars Sullivan

Also part of that December 2018 announcement, Lars Sullivan’s WWE debut was delayed due to an anxiety attack, but he was pegged for a massive push when he arrived in April.

Sullivan demolished established wrestlers like Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio, looking like he was going to be the next big thing for WWE. He was soon tangling with Lucha House Party in a dismal feud, but at least it was further establishing Lars as a dominant heel.

However, he was injured in June, and he hasn’t been seen on TV since. It didn’t help that online racist, sexist and homophobic comments Sullivan had made years ago resurfaced around the time he was called up, which seriously marred his promotion to the main roster in a company with a “Be A STAR” campaign.

Sullivan will likely get a strong push when he returns, but his 2019 has been forgettable.
