Even though the 1997 Survivor Series hosted the unforgettable 'Montreal Screwjob', it's important to note that the show wasn't all that great from a wrestling standpoint. Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart is historically important, but it was a disjointed bout. Matches that should have been truly interesting, such as Steve Austin vs. Owen Hart, were too short to be anything meaningful. There just wasn't that stand out match.
