By the time the 2010 Survivor Series rolled around, WWE had long-since dropped the ball on the whole 'Nexus' storyline that had dominated the Summer. In the main event slot, Wade Barrett challenged Randy Orton for the WWE Title, with John Cena as the Special Guest Referee. Elsewhere, Kane and Edge had an interminable World Title showdown that ended in a disappointing draw. This was an event to forget.
