Cabana's early Dark Order teases suggested something bigger was on the horizon for the long-time indie veteran. This never materialised, however: upon being absorbed into AEW's biggest stable, Colt almost became a non-entity, fading into the background while others shone.

The initial Brodie Lee recruitment storyline boosts his position, as do the Order's attempts at coaxing him into fighting dirtier as part of the group. Still, Cabana is never spotlighted anymore.
