9. Gran Metalik Vs. Alejandro Saez

Rating: Metalik drilled Saez with the Dorada Driver for the pin (4:10).

Result: The first match in the entire CWC was a solid start to the tournament and told everyone what to expect throughout, with Metalik's incredible Springboard Dive, Saez's Shooting Star Press off the apron and his attempt at a Spiral Tap being particular highlights.

Still, it was disappointingly short at just four minutes in length, even if they got a lot of fun spots in for something so brief and made terrific use of their allotted time. A few more minutes of ring time could've given this a major uptick in quality. 6/10
