Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle - Wrestlemania 19

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x16sp1r_wwe-wrestlemania-19-brock-lesnar-vs-kurt-angle-wwe-championship_sport This match is now most remembered for a Shooting Star Press that went wrong, but is actually of the best Wrestlemania matches to feature a Royal Rumble winner. Brock Lesnar won the 2003 Royal Rumble match, which was just another one of the major accomplishments he achieved in his debut year, setting up a match with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania. Angle would repeatedly try to get the better of Lesnar heading into Wrestlemania, using Team Angle, Paul Heyman and his brother Eric at different stages. All of Kurt's shenanigans backfired though, as Smackdown GM Stephanie McMahon declared that Angle would lose his title if he was counted out or disqualified at Wrestlemania. In reality, those stipulations had no effect on the match, the majority of which stayed within the confines of the wrestling ring, and didn't rely on gimmicks or screwy finishes as previous Wrestlemania main events had. Instead, Lesnar & Angle told the story using their natural athleticism and talent, in a fantastic back and forth match. Brock eventually won the match after hitting two F5s on Angle. Obviously I can't ignore Lesnar's botched Shooting Star Press, in which he failed to hit Angle and fell with his full weight on his head and neck. It was a scary moment for everyone, but Brock seemed to come out of it unscathed. Lesnar later stated that he has no memory of the match after hitting his head however, so kudos to him for finishing the match; although it must be bittersweet to not remember winning the WWE title at Wrestlemania.
