Two of the biggest stars of the Ruthless Aggression days, facing off for the biggest prize in the business. This is what WrestleMania is supposed to be about, as John Cena challenged Batista for the WWE Championship.

As the powerhouse heel, the Animal spent a good chunk of the match working over Cena's surgically-repaired neck, with only a few hope spots for Big Match John before we got into the finish. After both men kicked out of each other's finishing move, Super Cena was able to counter a Batista Bomb and roll through into the STF to get the submission victory in a solid meeting of two of the top names of the modern era.

Big Dave would be gone from WWE less than two months later, quitting after becoming disillusioned with the direction of the company.
