17. WrestleMania III - Hulk Hogan Vs. Andre The Giant

Hogan vs. Andre at WrestleMania III is such a hard one to place when compiling such a list, and it's a contest that forever divides opinion.

As a bell-to-bell wrestling match, the bout was dreadful. Hogan always had a habit of working a little too slow for some fans, and the famed Giant's body was badly broken down by this point. When viewed purely as a contest, it's an awful watch.

The other side of this, of course, is the historical significance of WWF Champion the Hulkster slamming Andre in front of a purported record crowd of 93,173 and millions of people watching at home on PPV and closed circuit.

For its importance, the match has to rate higher than its in-ring work would deserve, but it's tough to push it any higher up this list than here.
