And months of very real and confrontational f*ck-you-that's-why booking from the company to stifle even the potential of such a thing occurring.

The match had everything - a pinch of Attitude Era overbooking but with the workrate heavier heft of an evolving WWE style at the time - and yet it really only needed the last few seconds.
