His aura fully restored through the shock booking of 2014 - he ended the Undertaker's WrestleMania Streak and annihilated Super John Cena like a jobber in two unfathomable developments - Brock Lesnar substantiated the most committed booking ever throughout a spectacular 2015.

He rose from a table wreckage like a Lovecraftian horror in a seminal Royal Rumble Triple Threat - John Cena and Seth Rollins worked a sprint-match-within-a-match just to avoid his ungodly wrath - before destroying Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 in a killer main event in which he looked like the hardest and most invincible professional wrestler ever.

Extracting the last of the Undertaker's aura in a superb series in the autumn - the real Last Rides - Lesnar in 2015 looked like the man no mortal could ever beat, and it wasn't troll booking.

It was as real as wrestling has ever looked.
