Just days removed from captivating the wrestling world yet again with his already-legendary NJPW Dominion clash with Kazuchika Okada, IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega has snuck on to the WWE Network for the very first time to cap off one of the biggest weeks of his entire career.

It marks his second interaction with the company in as many days, having verbally put The New Day to the sword alongside Elite comrades The Young Bucks as part of the E3 video game convention in Los Angeles.

A transparent attention-grab from WWE during a white hot spell for the leader of The Golden Elite, the upload features Omega - then only five years into his career - cutting a promo on and wrestling fellow Deep South Wrestling trainee Cru Jones in September 2006.

'The Best Bout Machine' spent less than a year in the territory and WWE system altogether, later criticising trainers Bill DeMott and Jody Hamilton for what he felt was a poor learning and professional experience.

The Jones clash was one of Omega's last for the group before requesting his release to go back to the independent circuit. He's since turned down offers to return to the company, but should see this subscriber-hunting nod from the company as further acknowledgement of his superlative star power.
